I am beyond excited to be your photographer - but first of all, I would love to introduce myself. My name is Polina, and after graduating with a degree in Philology and Translation, I decided to follow my heart, love and passion —and not just figuratively. I moved across the world to Oklahoma for love. After coming here I also felt the pull to follow my dream of becoming a photographer. Now, I get to live the dream of having both — my love and my artistic outlet — and of course, our cat, Fox, who adds even more joy to our tiny family.
Creativity is my constant companion. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m pouring my energy into art, crafting, and journaling. I also love the feeling of getting lost in the hustle of a city, exploring its many stories through the crowds, finding new coffee shops, and discovering hidden restaurants. I’m also a bit of a language nerd with far too many hobbies to count, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day is an opportunity to explore, create, and discover something new — and I’m thrilled to share that journey with you.
Above all, what I truly love is the depth of human connection and its beauty that exists in all its forms. Through my photography, I aim to capture the full spectrum of what it means to be human — the love, the joy, the connection, the heartbreak, the sadness, the triumphs, and even the moments of tragedy. We are multifaceted beings, each with a unique story, and I believe we deserve to be seen in all of it — truly seen, and deeply loved. That is my mission as a photographer: to honor and celebrate the complexities of life, to give voice to the emotions that shape us, and to create images that reflect the raw, beautiful reality of being human.
What to expect during a photoshoot with me?
I know you’re on this page to learn more about me, and honestly, I understand why. When you’re choosing someone to capture yourself, especially when you’re stepping in front of the camera and showing a little vulnerability, it’s important to know who you’ll be working with. You want to feel comfortable, confident and need to know what to expect.
So let me share a little about myself and my workflow. During the shoots, I tend to work on the quieter side — calm, friendly, and open. I offer a peaceful, focused presence and feel that a lot of the time, it is what helps me build a deep trust and connection with my clients, and their connection to the feelings they are trying to show in photos. My approach is never loud, but nevertheless, is always centered on authenticity. If you appreciate a calm, professional energy — you and I will work beautifully together. I believe in creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere without distractions where your true essence can unfold, and I can’t wait to capture that.
I truly believe that the best photos come from a place of connection and comfort. That’s why I’m always open to meeting up for a cup of coffee a few days before the shoot—just to chat and get to know each other a little better. It’s completely optional, of course, but if you’d enjoy it, I’d love to take that time to help you feel more at ease before we dive into the session.
